The challenge: Instantly shoppable front row fashion
Street style at London Fashion Week is big business, with celebrities and influencers’ outfits making the headlines in Marie Claire and other popular publications.
With influencers often donning vintage pieces of those lent from designers, it can be hard for readers to shop for something similar without insider knowledge.
The Solution: 'Shop the Look' and 'Snap similar'
Marie Claire’s fashion editors used Snap Vision’s Snap the Celeb tool to instantly find comparable high street options to outfits seen on the front row and streets near Somerset House, turning their articles into ‘Shop the Look’ features made up of collections.
The journalists simply embed the java script of the collections they created using the Snap Similar tool into their content management system to create a shoppable gallery.
The features will remain relevant online for longer, due to the Snap Similar button being added to each product, thus in stock items will always be found. Allowing links to be monetised at all times.
High engagement increase, with time spent on Marie Claire article being over 10 minutes in most of the cases.
Increased conversion rates over 30%.
